Socialwalk transforms conferences & business events into lasting communities. Try the Socialwalk platform to facilitate networking and business matching among your guests and attendees. We provide an easy to use web-based interface (SAAS) to do online registration and ticketing. We were awarded a RM150K pre-seed grant by MDEC to develop and launch this software. Client list includes events by TEDxKuala Lumpur, TiE Asia Pacific Conference 09, Barcamp, Bursa Malaysia, and more.
As a Council Member of TeAM, I am heading the TeAM Community 2.0 sub-committee to raise awareness of TeAM’s contribuitions to Malaysia’s technopreneurial eco-system, increase the value of becoming a TeAM member, as well as engage the community to join us. Towards that goal, TeAM is looking to co-sponsor and partner up for events. We also arrange bi-monthly activities such as Lunch with CEOs (we invite industry leaders to have lunch with TeAM members). Check out our website for the CEO lineup. Other than that, I am also targeting to create cross-organizational exchange programs with groups across the globe. To date we have established contact with the Bay Area Malaysians (MPBA), a Silicon Valley professional organization and The Distillers, a startup Organization based in New Zealand.

Socialtalkr is where I talk to Web2.0 startup CEOs & Founders. We chat a little bit about the business but focus a whole lot on the people behind the startup, their journey, their experiences, and their strategies to make their startup the next big success story!
Through interviews in Socialtalkr, I met and made friends with alot of young and entreprising CEOs. We started hanging out and discussing issues, and found that our “yumcha” sessions were actually providing us with great feedback about our businesses. Finally we decided to do something about it and formed the CEO roundtable. We want to bring CEO Entrepreneurs together to discuss issues and overcome obstacles through casual yet effective brainstorming sessions.
